In the classic Christmas movie “It’s a Wonderful Life,” the grieving druggist makes a life-threatening mistake that is fortunately caught by a young George Bailey. Incidentally, George Bailey was a student working part-time as a soda clerk and delivery person for the druggist. 

Today’s pharmacy is a complex operation, often with many employees behind the counter.  Under these conditions, who is responsible to see that everything goes right?
